Transfer Site By-law Provisions
Monday: 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon and 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon and 12:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Thursday: Closed
Friday: Closed
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon and 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: Third Sunday in June to third Sunday in September 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon and 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Hours for Statutory Holidays to be posted at least one week in advance.
Accepted for recycling in the recycling bin:
- Clear glass and coloured food grade Glass (clean-with lids removed)
- Waste glass, ie. mirrors, window glass
- Newspapers & inserts,
- Catalogues, magazines
- Flyers
- Telephone books
- Circulars
- Paperback books,
- Books with hard covers removed,
- Boxboard,
- Food boxes (e.g. cereal & cracker boxes),
- Milk/juice cartons,
- Egg cartons,
- Greeting cards,
- Paper tubes,
- Letter paper and envelopes,
- Household paper
- Aluminum & steel cans
- Corrugated cardboard
- ET containers, HDP #2, PP #5, PS #6, polycoat
- Film plastic

Accepted for recycling and stored at the transfer site:
- White goods and scrap metal
- Rubber tires (rims removed)
Accepted in the bully and large plastics transfer bins:
- Upholstered furniture and mattresses
- Large rigid plastic items including lawn furniture and toys
- Bulky items may be subject to a disposal fee
Accepted in the organic waste bin:
- Baked goods
- Cereal
- Coffee grounds & filters
- Tea bags & loose tea
- Sauces
- Paper Towels & Napkins
- Facial Tissues
- Garden Plants
